 media, social media, event planning and

Organizational Structure
Inspired Strategies Agency is a professional strategic communication agency that functions as a practicum for public relations and strategic communication majors at Olivet Nazarene University. This unique model of professional training is considered experiential learning, and more specifically, service learning with community partners. As a practicum, PRSC students are required to take COMM 312: Inspired Strategies Agency for three semesters at one credit per semester. Students may elect to take the course for more credit and experience as COMM 312 is repeatable for credit. The organizational structure can be seen below in the org chart. Although Inspired Strategies Agency strives to maintain a visionary and semi-organic structure in daily responsibilities, a traditional model of leadership (traditional hierarchy) is required due to the curricular requirements and objectives of the course. Students are empowered to work with community clients independently with weekly meetings and participate in 360 reviews every semester. The agency additionally maintains a close partnership with Olivet’s Public Relations Student Society of America club as the ISA Agency Director holds an ex-officio (nonvoting) seat on the club’s board of directors.
